It is of a good size and is oval in shape with a wide upturned lipIt has a very pretty engraved floral and scroll border to the top of the body and it has an engraved greek key pattern around the raised oval baseThese letters are on the back, (unless you are left handed) of the jug so when the jug is facing you they cannot be seenIt is made from a good guage of silver and has clear hallmarks, except for the makers marks which are completely rubbedIt is in very good condition with just one little pin prick ding, but this is minor particularly as it is 208 years oldThis really is a very good, useable antique Georgian solid silver cream jug of a good size, that would look impressive in any home and a must for any collector of good Georgian silver .
